I can burn a movie from my computer to a dvdr but it wont play in a dvd player.do i need a special dvdr disk?

Did you use a DVD burning software to burn a movie from your computer to a blank DVD disc?If yes,then firstly you should confirm the copied DVD can be played on your computer smoothly.If it can play well on your computer but not on your DVD player,you may need to change some setting(s) for the software/burning program. For example,the burn engine,etc. I did meet the same error previously,then I changed the burn engine and burn again,and the copied DVD can be played on both my computer and my DVD player very well. If your DVD burning software also has "burn engine" to change,you can have a try.
