How often does your Sky+ HD box flip out?

How do I install a SKY HD Box?

  • I have a brand new Sky HD box and freesat card. There is a label on the front of the box reminding the Sky Engineer to complete an "Over Air Software Downland". I have tried and I have the programme guide, date, time showing plus a notice that "No satellite signal being received". Anyone know what to do please?

  • Answer:

Your Sat dish needs to be aligned to 28.2 degrees East with a professional meter.Make sure your LNB is working OK.

You can get a signal meter from most electrical shops that deal in Sat elite tv. If you don't know how to do the download contact me and I will send instructions..

For Sky +/HD, you need two feeds from the dish, which means a twin or quad LNB to connect them to. http://info.international-satellite.com/articles/sky_digital_receiver_software.html http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=491562
