How to burn mpeg2 onto DVD?

  • I made a short film in Sony Vegas 9, and rendered it as mpeg2. Now I need to burn it onto a DVD disk to be played in a DVD Player. I tried Windows DVD Maker, but it says it doesn't support mpeg2. How do i burn my mpeg2 video file onto a DVD disk for playing on a DVD Player? Thanks!

    Indeed, Windwso DVD Maker won't recognize MPEG2. If you want to burn MPEG2 to a DVD which can be viewed on home DVD player, you will need a DVD burning tool which is able to finalize DVD. Remember, just copy the movie to DVD disc will not actually read on your DVD player. So to speak, I am using a tool called DVD Creator which is able to burn MPEG2 and many other videos to DVD.
