How much is an additional Time Warner Cable Box DVR?

Having trouble with my scientfic atlanta hi def cable box dvr and time warner cable..?

hi. recently purchaed a hi def tv and traded in my regular scientfic atlanta cable box fo a hi def box prvided by time warner. often the pictue becoms distorted and i need to reboot the cable box,it works for a while (soemtimes hours, soemtimesdays, then the same thing happens. i cal ltime warner and all heytell me is they need to re send the signal, they do, butt hen the same problem after a while, does anyone else have a problem like this? is it the cable box that is not working correctly or is it time warners signal?

I would say it is a wiring or signal issue. If there is something wrong with either then you have to have a service tech come out. I would say one or the other is bad. Your box is good. If the tech says the box is bad then insist he do all he can to check all fittings and wiring and incoming signal.
