How do you connect a VCR to a DVD recorder?
-
I connected them with the right cable, but the DVD recorder does not detect the VCR. They are also both working on separate inputs for the TV. What are some possible reasons for this? Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Answer:
connecting the vcr to your dvd recorder is only a part of the process. the next step for you is to make sure that your dvd recorder recognizes your vcr's signal or output. so check both your vcr and dvd recorder's input and output signal. then install the appropriate converter for them to be able to communicate. hope this helps.
