What is wrong with my AT&T U-Verse DVR?

  • My roommate and I have had U-Verse for about 3 months now. About a month ago, I came home to find that ALL of our DVR recording were gone. No trace of them whatsoever. However the programs that were still scheduled and waiting to record were still there. I talked to my roommate and she had no idea either. I was pissed! And now today I come home and once again, all of the new recording are gone. This is ridiculous! Does anyone have any idea why this keeps happening?

    I've had U-verse for two years and have never seen anything like that. In fact, as you probably know, deleting a recording is a deliberate process that requires several steps. Bulk-erasing doesn't seem to be possible by the user. I'd want to call customer service on this one, 800-288-2020. You may need your DVR replaced. Not unusual--my first one was replaced before the original installer left the premises.
