How can i get better reception so i can get all my channels from my HD box?

I have brought a hd box because we dot get enough reception to get a good picture on our normal TV i brought a small tv antenna for $30 made a big improvement but not enough to keep the channels there...I live in Pakenham if that helps please HELP me!!!

use some aluminum foil around the tips of the antenna,, it helps a lil
