Should I buy a HD PVR new or second hand?

  • I am wondering whether to buy a HD PVR new from amazon for £175 in total or to buy it second hand from ebay for like £150? I am just wary about paying £150 on ebay and then recieving a faulty product? But at the same time the extra £25 I would be paying to get it new would be coming out of my savings which is a pain. So do I pay extra £25 for a gaurentee product brand new, or get it cheaper have to wait long and it possibly not working? EDIT: I'm using it for recording PS3 and uploading to youtube btw

    With your doubts you've answered your own question as would I have the same questions as to a good warranty......also look at the latest model it now records in H.264....the HD PVR Gaming model totlally cooooool sorry I still talk that way.... Still a good choice getting it new you never know it could break two weeks or two years you never know.
