Whats the best way to connect my cable box?
-
I have DCH70 cable box, that I am attempting to connect to a receiver (STR-KS360). The cable box just has two output options, coax cable, or composite/rca cables (NOT component... this is the old school red white and yellow rca cables). The receiver input options are rca cable for audio (which I hear, and is working) and digital optical (I assume for video). Here is the manual for the receiver. http://weltonusamanuals.s3.amazonaws.com/HTSS360(Manual).pdf (see page 8) Can you link to a converter that allows me to convert composite video to an input source (digital optical?) that I can then connect to my reciever? Please provide link to the actual product I can buy, I cant seem to find exactly what i want on amazon.

Answer:
A digital optical input or output is audio only. It has nothing to do with video, so you are out of luck. Sorry.
