  Yes as to the RAM issue if that Maxs out the RAM, the processor is good just turn off any background software supplied by the laptops company. That will only hinder it more making harder to get it up to speed to capture the video if you do run into any problems just lower the capture range from 1080P to 720P and that will or should do it.......
