How do I watch my verizon Fios on my computer?

I have Verizon Fios, and I am wondering if anyone is able to watch me from inside my TV?

Can computer hackers, throught the internet, can go to my IP address of your Verizon Fios DVR and watch me from inside my TV. The closed vaption needs to be on Text1 or Text2. I have an IP address because Verizon uses fibers optical cabling, through a router. Which is able to communicate to all decives, my computers, my DVR, my land line phone.. If they are able to get to my router to throught the firewalls to see my computer, what stops them from going to the DVR and seeing me watch TV?
