How do I view recordings with Dish?

Do I need a special satellite dish to view HD free sat, or can I view it with a normal dish?

  • I have just bought free sat HD, but didn't realise you needed a dish to view it. I live in an apartment block where there is a communal dish, and was subscribed to sky tv a while ago, so I know it works. Do I need a special free sat dish, or can I use the communal 1?

  • Answer:

You can use the communal dish. Satellite TV in the UK uses all the same satellite.
