Question about Sky Plus HD.

Sky+HD box problem question?

• Hi my Sky+HD box keeps freezing when I scroll through the planner and the sound keeps going I have to change the channel or turn it of and on again (Its not the signal because the problem does not happen on other sky box's) Any idea what the problem is and how to repair it?

  have you tried resetting your box (ie turn off at the mains make shure there are no lights on the box leave off for a few secs then plug back in then wait 2-3 min's then turn your box back on ) or EVEN BETTER you could update the software this is done by turn the box off at the mains then place your finger on the backup button on the top of your hd box now plug back into the mains keeping your finger on the backup button keep your finger on this button for 30-40 secs or until all the lights are on on the front of the box (if you cant do both get someone else to keep their finger on the backup button ) if the lights don't come on after 1 min you've done this wrong so repeat hope this helps if it doesn't work IT WILL BE YOUR SIGNAL / CABLE as all your boxes are on separate cables especially if the cable goes over the roof to your hd box then you will have to book a service call
