Will my Sky box work without the new viewing card?
-
I have an old Sky box (not Sky plus) in my house to receive the free channels (basically what you get on freeview) because my house has a mini-dish but no tv aerial. You need to have a viewing card for this, which I have. However, as you may have seen, Sky are sending out new, updated cards to all their customers. Obviously, because I do not pay Sky anything I will not get one. Does anyone know if my Sky box will still work? And if it will stop working how long do I have until it stops working (I am moving in 10 months)?

Yeah the free channels don't even need a viewing card.
