How do i hook my nintendo wii to my dvr box (time warner cable)?
-
The cables (red, white, yellow) won't reach the tv av inputs so i'm trying to connect the wii to my dvr box which has three AV inputs. When I connect them i can't get the dvr remote to switch to the wii. I tried pressing the video source button but nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong, is it a remote issue, tv issue or dvr box issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Answer:
You can connect your wii to a DVR box, but it depends on which kind it is. If you want to record your games then use one of these like me: http://www.newelectronx.com/proddetail.php?prod=tristar-mx-dvr

You can not connect your nintendo unit to your DVR box. The AV inputs on the DVR box are outputs, not inputs. if the cables do not reach, you need to buy longer cables or move your nintendo or your TV.
