What is the best screen and audio recorder?

  • Hi I'm looking for a screen and audio recorder in one. So I can record the screen and audio too. The problem is I used to use "Fraps", but then I can't record sound, unless i install a audio recorder.. So what is the best Screen and Audio recorder, and preferably one that's free if it's possible.. ;) Thanks in advance :D

    I have Jing from TechSmith. They have a free version. I haven't used it that much, but it seems to record screen video and microphone audio fine.

Fraps should recodord audio .. you might just have your computers settings to microphone rather than inline or whatever.

DemoCreator is a nice screen recorder with audio recording feature. Here is some setting tips: http://www.sameshow.com/demo-creator.html#107 But this tool is not for recording game but rather for creating software demos and website guide video. Fraps should be able to record the audio in game. An alternative is Wegame. http://www.wegame.com/download/
