Why are so many Netflix videos unavailable?

Why are my Netflix instant view videos not loading?

  • I'm using Netflix on a MacBook. I'm able to start playing any video, but it only loads for a few moments and then stops. I've already tried resetting my modem/router and clearing out my cache. I've also restarted my computer and tried using multiple web browsers. There are absolutely no problems with any other site that I visit. Help?

    My Netflix works. I would start the video that you want to watch then press pause and wait for the video to load at least half way before watching. It could be the movie that you are watching. Try a different title and see if you have the same problem. I tried watching a movie that would play then the video would stop but the sound would continue. I kept starting and stopping it for about 5 minutes. Then I gave up and watched something else. If it happens to be a specific title that is not working I would report the problem you are having to Netflix so they are aware of it and can try to fix it.
