Can Comcast install high speed internet if I don't have cable lines in the house?
-
I just moved into a very old house which has never had cable TV/internet and has no jacks for it that I can see. Comcast's website allowed me to schedule an installation for next week, but I'm worried that they won't be able to do anything (and I've already bought a cable modem.) FYI I think there is cable tv in the *neighborhood* but they would probably have to run it from outside.

Answer:
They will run cable lines from the nearest pole to the house. Start figuring out where you want hookups. Because they have to run lines, your installation costs could be higher.
