Sending back direct tv receivers - lost remotes. How much will they charge?
-
We recently upgraded from direct tv to verizon fios, so now they want us to send back our 4 receivers and remotes. The problem is we lost 2 of the remotes and were just wondering how much they were going to charge us for them. We have the basic direct tv.. not HD or any of that.. thanks.

Answer:
They probably won't charge anything. Plus, the only way I would send them back is if they paid the postage otherwise they can come pick them up. Frankly, we did the same thing and direct tv never said anything about the receivers. I hung on to them for about six months and then donated them to Goodwill who promptly trashed them.r

I don't believe taht they will charge. As long as they have their receivers back. I don't think they worry about remotes.
