Can I use the HD PVR composite inputs to record live tv?
-
I have a Hauppuage HD PVR and I want to record normal t.v. with a coaxial cable. But since the PVR doesn't have a coaxial cable input, I want to use a digital t.v. converter box to convert the coaxial to composite input. Then I want to plug in the composite cables to the PVR on the front, then record live t.v. like that. I need to know if you can use the front inputs in windows media center 7 to record live t.v. Please respond ASAP!!!

Answer:
Yeah that could work as a pass through or you could use a coaxial to component converter box I know you already have a box yet that does work kinda good as well. So using the TV as a pass through if yours does that as my friend does the same thing Yeah that should do it.
