How do I transfer my home VHS movies to DVD?

Need to know best way to convert home movies from vhs to dvd?

  • please help!, I cannot search anymore to find a machine/recorder to transfer my Old Home Movies on VHS safely onto DVD. Can someone giver me a make, model of any electronic out there

    Just get a basic DVD Recorder they sell them at Wal-Mart to Amazon. Then connect your VHS tape player to the rear of the DVD recorder then connect that to a TV and then press play on the VHS player and then record on the DVD Recorder. I think they still make VCR/DVD Recorder combos, or you can buy a used one. These have a VCR on one side and a DVD recorder on the other. Most even have a single-touch record button to record from tape to DVD. Just pop in a blank DVD, hit the button and that's it.
