HOW DO I RECORD XBOX 360 GAMES ON DVR?

  • i heard that you can use your time warner dvr cable box to record your games. i know how to hook up my xbox to the dvr and i know how to record shows on my dvr i wanna try it.but theres only 2 dvr in my house one in the living room and one in my moms room and itll be a pain in the *** if i hooked everything up in the living room then keep running back into my room if it didnt work so can any1 tell me if it works?

    You''ll have to muck around with the settings on the xbox to get the right format, it'll be SD & probably 50hz, which some games won't play in, and looks odd while playing as well. As that will be the only rate the DVR will recognise, most likely.

You heard wrong. A DVR from a provider can only record from that provider, not external sources. You need standalone recorder with A/V in, or a PC capture device to record from a console.
