Is there a way to put recorded tv shows from my DVR onto a tape or dvd?

We have dish network and there are a bunch of recorded shows i want to keep, but also erase from my dvr. The Tv in my room does not have a DVR and i want to watch my recorded shows in there. Is there a way to put the shows i recorded on Dish DVR to a dvd so i can watch them? I have shows i want to keep, but i also need to delete most of them because i am about to go over the time limit plz help

Try getting a dvd recorder it's not that hard to set up a dvr to dvd recorder. You can get them at walmart or best buy even amazon. Look for a samsung toshiba or sony here is a video that shows one way to set it up http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aETiQSCRR7Q
