What should I look for when buying a DVD recorder?

Now that we have gone digital is my old vidio dvd recorder no good?

Get a twin dvb freeview box and that way you will be able to record one channel while watching another . Or it might let you watch tv (if you have free view built in to your tv) and record another station) as long as you have an arial splitter with one going to the digi box connected to the dvd , and the other to your tv.

The simplest solution is to buy a DVD recorder, which has Freeview built in. That way, you can record one Freeview channel whilst watching another.
