  • Answer:

You need a set top box (Freeview or Sky) with a second SCART connection, remembering that most budget boxes only have one SCART that is used to output signal straight to the TV. Connect the SCART to the input of your VHS. Set the VHS recorder to AV and look for the signal you want to record. Press record on your VHS and wait for the program to finish Job Done!

With a SCART lead

Mr Bad Boy

Main aerial lead into digibox. Scart lead to recorder. Tune recorder to digibox. You will need to have digibox on and set to channel you wish to record. Set recorder to whatever time you want but make sure it's set to record the number you have for the digibox. You will have to leave the digibox on, not on standby. Of course you need a recorder with two scart sockets so that you can connect it to the TV. Much easier to buy a digital recorder.
