Can my DVR control the channels with a converter box?
-
I have an old TV, an antenna, and a Panasonic DVR that required my using an RF box. I set up the newly required converter box (an Insignia), but then channel control was only through the converter box (I did not set up the RF box thinking the converter would trump that). Can I set it up so that I can control channels and schedule programming thru my DVR?

Answer:
Nope but a tivo can that. But your better off getting the tv hd. Since the tivo hd can record 2 hd shows at the same time in hd. and you will be ready when you get a hdtv if you dont have one. is that panasonic tivo? if it is it will work the dtv boxes.
