Why can't I get tv back to normal?

Can't quite get the tv to work?

alrigthy so i am babysitting, and i can't quite get the tv to work =] we're using a sony flat screen (which probaly doesn't matter) DCT 6416 III and a motorola universal remote now the issue u ask? welll its just not working =D it says no signal, but everything is hoooked up right, and it was working fine earlier, i believe i may have sat on the remote and messed it up....fail ik, but i'm counting on you to help me! and i need to get treehouse back on the air O_O kids kinda need that show *coff coff* mainly just me.. lmfao actually no...funny joke right?
Answer:

If it's satellite push the sat button on the remote or Your probably on the wrong input, on the remote, push source until you find the correct input for the show. One last thing is that the channel for the cable was moved. Cycle thru the channels starting at 3
