Is there a way to configure Comcast DVR to only be able to record one show at a time?
-
I have about 6 shows that I have recording on my DVR. The problem is that sometimes the shows are on at the same time. This means that the DVR is recording both shows and only those programs can be viewed at that time. This is a problem because my family members watch TV all the time and they want to watch their programs. How can I configure this to work? If it makes any difference, we use a Motarola unit.

Answer:
If they just turn the channel they will get a warning that the recording will stop. If they say yes then you will not get one of the shows but they will be allowed to turn the channel.
