How can I make a fan video on Youtube?

• i used to use hypercam but it had that logo at the top and i did find a code to get rid of it but it was not in HQ so i would like a free or free trial of a screen recorder so i can put together random clips of bands,animals and such together so i can make a small fan made music video. oh and how would it be possible to put any song into the video and not worry about youtube blocking it? and or if possible. whats the best and hopefully no download needed program to download youtube videos and place them into Windows Movie Maker for editing? oh yeah one more thing...is there a decent video editing program i could use as a trial or get for free and thats better then WMM(Like effects and all that)? thanks
