Where to buy a remote?

Where can I buy a new Virgin+ remote in a shop?

• I broke my V+ remote just over a week ago and have ordered a new one from Virgin as, ridiculously, their stores don't seem to have them in stock. I anticipate that it will arrive after Christmas (probably sometime in July) as Virgin are generally a bit rubbash at this sort of thing. I will be very upset if I can't record the Queen's Speech or Mary Poppins so will dive into town to buy one at the last minute if the replacement doesn't arrive in the post in time. I have, however, researched which electrical shops sell V+ remotes and the answer seems to be NONE. They all stock about 10 colours and versions of Sky remote, which is obviously useless; they also stock 'universal' handsets, but I have had experience with these in the past and I refuse to shell out £25 for one as they are total and complete sh!t. My kneecaps are wearing out from squatting in front of the box, which doesn't provide enough buttons to support all the features anyway! Does ANYONE know where I can buy one, or otherwise vouch for Virgin's marvellous speedy remote control dispatch? I thanka you.

  it can take a week to recieve the remote in the post as thats how long it took mine to arrive but i have not seen them for sale in any shops sorry
