Can I record movies saved on my DVR to a vhs tape?
-
I have optimum and I can record movies and have them saved on my tv. Can I record the movies saved on my DVR by just putting in a VHS tape and clicking record?
-
Answer:
yes just press play on your dvr and press record on your vcr at the same time. it's just like recording a live show onto a tape, only your playing it back. your vcr doesn't know the difference; it only records what is on the tv screen. your vcr will need to be on the correct channel (normally ch3 if using coaxial cable, or L1/L2 if using audio video cables).

If your VCR is plugged into the output jack of your DVR, yes.
