I have got loads of movies on my drive but when i transfer them onto DVD they wont work on my DVD player?

i have tried using dvd - r dvd + rw and nothing is working i dont know what i am doing wrong please help

It sounds as though the movies you have on your drive are in DivX orXvid format and they will not play on an older DVD player. Most DVD players nowadays will play these other formats and you will be able to pick one up for less than 50 quid. If you don't want to do this, you will have to convert the files on your drive as described above

You need to convert them from AVI to DVD, search google for a program that does this. I use Convert X to DVD 3. Their are many programs that do this so take your pick.
