Why is dazzle a good capture card?

Why wont my Dazzle capture card work?

I recently bought a Dazzle platinum HD capture card from best buy so i can record my game-play on the PS3, i got splitters and a 2 way AV cable and it looks set up correctly but when i plug it into my computer it says "no input signal" I don't know why it doesn't work please help
