Is it possible to dub onto a DVD recorder?

How to dub a copy protected VCR tape to DVD ? It worked for some tapes but not this one.?

  • I have got a Samsung VCR/DVD recorder (model VR355) which can dub VCR to DVD and vice versa. I have copied some VCR tapes to DVD, but some failed because the tape is copy protected. How to overcome this ?

  • Answer:

Borrow a VCR from someone. Plug the VCR to your TV (with a coaxial cable). Plug your VCR/DVD to the VCR (the VCR that you "borrowed" is going to have 3 plugs on the back: a red, a white, and a yellow (saying "OUT"). Plug your VCR/DVD to those three plugs saying "OUT." Now turn on your TV, turn on the VCR that you borrowed, and then the VCR/DVD. Put the VCR tape (the movie that you want to copy that is protected) in the VCR that you borrowed. Turn on YOUR VCR/DVD. Put a blank DVD-R in the your VCR/DVD. When the tape that you put in the borrowed VCR starts playing, hit the record button in your VCR/DVD. Sorry if I give you a headache, but I'm not a person that can really explain something typing it. I have to be there to explain the person. But I gave my best! Good luck!!
