Can you use a TiVo and a comcast DVR box on the same tv? Could you record 4 shows at once? ?

If I have a comcast DVR box hooked up to my TV and my friend wants her own DVR type box. Can she purchase a TiVo and use it on the same TV as my Comcast DVR box? How would that work? Could you record 4 shows on different channels at once? I would be interested to find any help! Thanks!

Answer:
You can The other TiVo could be a Series 2 TiVo, which is limited to two analog channels or one analog, one digital with its own cable box, all in SD. The cable would need split 2 or 3 ways. Another option is a TiVo HD, which instead of a cable box, uses cablecards, for it has two digital tuners, so will record two digital channels at once. You just need split cable two ways, tot he cable DVR and the TiVo. In either case, you connect each DVR to different inputs on the TV.
