How to convert movies from VCD discs to DVD discs?

I bought DVD-RW discs so how do i put like movies from other DVD discs?

    You download software to rip the data off the DVD, and then you download software to write the data to the dvd-rws, and then you use it. This is assuming you have a dvd-rw drive. Its amazing the amont of people who buy dvd-r(w)s and they only have a CD-ROM or CD-R drive. If you distribute copywrited material, there is the chance of a VERY hefty fine, and well as the posibility of jail time.

You can't just do a straight up copy - you need to decrypt and encrypt. Download a program called DVD Shrink. It will do all of this and compress the files to fit onto a standard 4.7 GB DVD-RW. Then, you can play it on any stand alone DVD player. Also, it is legal to make one backup copy of a CD or DVD under copyright laws, so long as it is YOUR backup and you do not distribute or sell it or the original.

if it's movies DVD, it's illegal, there should be a software in the computer that allow you to copy DVD easily!
