How could I use my PC as an audio-video recorder?

What DVD Recorder is easy to use & has a bestquality pic, PC Internal, External or DVD/VCR Deck & what brand?

I wanna record my old Vhs, Video Hi8 & Mini dvd into a regular size dvd..Thanks,,All answer will be appreciated...

All DVD recorders are pretty much the same these days. Always record at the best possible quality. Make sure you get one with DV input if you plan to use it to transfer DV tapes. Don't worry about DVD-R vs DVD+R; however, for best compatibility always record in DVD-video format and finalize as needed after you are done.
