Can you link a sky+ box to a sky hd box to watch your recorded programmes?

i have a new sky hd box but dont want to install it until i have watched all my currently recorded programmes. there is a usb socket on the back - can they be linked?

Nope, USB port is just used for Sky engineers if they need to reprogramme your box, but as for your question the only way would be to switch the hard drives over

You can with a Scart Lead but one is HD and the other ordinary, try it anyway . Output on your Sky HD to input on the standard. Not USB
