When would Dish ViP 922 be released?

Which is better, dish vip 722k or 922?

    the 922 has for the most part never lived up to its potential. who knows why ? bad timing ? they either bit off more then they could chew with google/ logitec options or rushed it out un a ware that i phones and i pads could do a better job. a 722 with a sling adapter ( cost of sling is rebated back to you ) and a 2 terabyte HDD will do everything a 922 can and actually has a usable interface. no ota option for the 922, no uhf remote option for tv 1. the 922 carries a higher monthy dvr fee. i cant think of any reason why i would want a 922

The main difference is the size of the hard drive. The 922 has 1TB of space which is enough to store over 150 hours of HD programming. The 722k has 300GB of space so it can only store around 50 hours of HD programming. 50 hours may sound like a lot, but remember, a lot of cable shows do marathons that can quickly consume your entire hard drive if you aren't regularly monitoring it.
