How does the Netflix $7.99 deal work?

  • How does the unlimited 7.99 deal on Netflix work? I get it says watch unlimited shows and movies instantly but is there a certain selection i can pick from? Am i limited to certain movies and shows? How is the streaming to devices? Computers, Wii's, PS3's, etc.?

    I have a Nintendo Wii and AT&T DSL (the fastest speed) at home and you just download the Netflix program onto the Wii (or whichever game console you would like to use) and it streams to your TV from there. I have done this for about two years now. Netflix does not allow you to watch all of the movies that are out there due to the movie companies and copyright restrictions but there is more than enough stuff to watch to keep you entertained. With the $7.99 package you get unlimited streaming online through your laptop, iPhone, PS3, Wii, or whatever you want to use it on. Netflix is making more and more deals with the large movie companies daily to get titles added to the instant. I wish I could post screenshots on here but I am not really familiar with that. It does say you can watch unlimited shows and movies instantly (and you can) but unfortunately there is a certain selection you can chose from, not every movie and show in existence is on there. If you're super curious as to what that is you can google it. Lots of times I remember a certain movie I want to watch and they don't have it. Newer shows/movies aren't on there. The streaming is pretty decent.. we watch netflix off the ps3 and it works well except for if someones using internet on their laptop it may not work as well and the internet will be slow and the streaming may stop a few times to reload where it left off. I still like it but I hate that the selection isn't better.
