My dad just got a vizio tv and cant find how to program the Direct remote to it?

We cant find the code for the tv so the volume doesnt work.

It is impossible for universal remotes to have all the codes. Manufacturers usually put in memory the most common brands. Your best alternative is to buy a Universal LEARNING remote and teach it the Vizio and Direct TV commands
