HD Pvr Gaming Edition Audio Lag?

I have had a Hauppauge HD PVR Gaming Edition since Christmas now and whenever I record the audio is about 2 seconds ahead of the video. I have looked all around the internet and I cannot find a way to fix this. Any ideas on how to get the audio and video to match and if not is there a way I can send it back and get a new working one? I AM DESPERATE
