How can I fix my Hauppauge HD PVR?

HD PVR - USB Issue / Connection to TV?

  • Ive asked before without much detail. and this being my only weekend off work this month i planned on recording some gameplay from 360 and editing. BUT my hauppauge doesnt work anymore... The first day i got it worked fine. but the next day it would start loossing connection to the TV and id have to restart the PVR and it would come back each time lasting for less and less. Now i cant even use the HD PVR, and i figured out its the USB, i can play fine without it plugged into the computer, but the millisecond i do it looses connection to the tv. Ive reinstalled the hardware, ive updated the drivers, and NO i cannot call customer support as they dont operate on weekends. So basically this weekend is a complete piss take. I have a pvr that doesnt work and no way to fix it... can somebody here atleast tell me the problem? ive looked everywhere for a solution... oh yea and ive tried different usb ports and even a different wire.

    contact hauppauge. they are a major company. they should have tech support to help you address this issue fast. i have a tristar mx hd pvr and i contact the company directly for assistance if needed. so i would strongly recommend that you do the same to get the right help. good luck
