Which is better a DVD +RW or a DVD -RW?

Why does DVD-RW exist when DVD+RW is better?

  • DVD+RW does not require finalization, and allows the user to erase only a portion of the DVD+RW and record again. DVD-RW cannot do these things, so why do people buy DVD -RW?

  • Answer:

the DVD+/- R or RW are just different DVD recording standards but they are similar if you think one is better than other then its your own personal preference but there is not that much differences. the DVD- discs are more compatible with most DVD players
