Is Comcast On Demand Free?

Comcast On Demand FREE premium channels. Paying for one, but getting 2 more free.?

• You few months ago I added HBO to my cable service. Naturally, I was able to watch the HBO premium services on ONDemand. But I also can view the Starz and Cinemax movies too in ONDemand, and don't think I am suppose to ??? I can not select a Cinemax movie from the normal channel lineup. It says I dont have that service (I don't). But in OnDemand I get whatever Cinemax offers. The odd thing is, I can't see OnDemand TMC or Showtime, Stern etc. Friends initally told me that Comcast will get that cleared up in my cable box within a few days. It's been about 4 months. Nothing has shown up on my bill refering to anything but the added HBO. Has anyone else experienced this? Should I inform Comcast? Was it their mistake? Is it ethical to watch these OnDemand channels even though I am not paying for them. Cable is soo darn expensive.

  In your OnDemand you whould only get the premiums you signed up for. If you are getting Starz and Cinemax then the account settings for your cable box are incorrect in Comcast's computer system. Also the things like Stern, Jennavision are a separate pay service which you can either pay per episode, per month, or per year. Unless you call them to make the change / correction you will continue to reiceive these channels until either) A: you call and tell them, or ask them about another service, or B: they do their audits (usually about once a year) At the time of the audits, it's not your fault your getting the channels so they can't charge you for them since it is an error in their system. 5 yrs exp installer/service tech 1yr exp system tech one of the major cable companies
