How do i hook up my dtv converter box to my digital tv, i don't have a digital antena. do I have to have that?

I'm assuming that you get your television signal from an antenna. (If you don't, then your cable or satellite service should be working just fine; it isn't affected by the digital transition.) If your current TV is not ready for the digital transition, then you /will/ need to install your digital converter box. Generally, you connect your antenna to the digital converter box and then connect the converter box to the TV. The digital converter should include better instructions than I could provide here. =) If you already have an HD-capable TV with the HDTV logo then you won't require a converter box. Simply connect your antenna to the antenna input on your TV (this is probably already connected) and you should be ready. Generally speaking, you don't *have* to get a new or different antenna for HDTV. Some viewers may find that their reception of the new frequencies used by the new digital channels is not as strong as the reception that they used to get for the older, analog channels. In these cases, you may wish to invest in a new antenna designed to better receive the newer frequencies. The final step is to tell your HDTV to scan for channels. If you have already done this, you probably already have the digital channels. Just try tuning to one. In my area, '2-1' is the channel number for FOX.
