I have a Motorola DVR furnished by Comcast. Can I record from the DVR to VHS or a recordable DVD? If so,how?

Very easy.. Hook your Video and Audio out cables to the Video and Audio in plugs on either VHS or DVD recorder. Then, just start the show on your DVR and press record on the VHS or DVD recorder. Most DVRs supply a few choices in audio/video out formats, us ethe one you're most comfortable with

First and foremost check your owner's manual. I would assume that you can, my recommendation would be to record it to a recordable DVD. You should be able to connect it via a digital connection, coaxial cable, or RCA jacks. There should be some sort of device marked for video/audio output. You would then connect it to a input jack on your recording device.
