I watch tv programes online but recently they keep stoping and starting (buffering ) why is this and how do i ?

I would think that it's something to do with your internet connection. Is someone else using the internet at the same time as you, or are you downloading things at the same time as you're trying to watch the tv? Because that will use up bandwidth and then there'll be less for the TV site to use, so it'll take longer to load and it might occasionally stop and start like you said. Also it might be your computer being slow, so you have alot of programs open? Or are there things running in the abckground that you don't need? Check the system tray (by the clock) for things that are there but you aren't using, try closing them and seeing if that helps.

Watch them at 3 in the morning when everyone else is in bed. It's either because too many people are trying to access the site or too many people are using the internet at your house. rialisi- bbc.co.uk - for BBC iplayer, channel4.com and five.tv - for channel 5

I guess it' sort of the 'download' the video. I think you just have to wait for it to buffer for smooth viewing.

hi, try deleting your history and the cookies....if you go on an internet page.... go to tools -> internet options ....then delete all....it shold work i guess.
