Is it possible to convert VHS home movies into DVDs?

  • my mom is full of home video of her family and of me when I was a baby. The VHS' are getting old and getting ruined.. I was wondering if it is possible to convert them into DVDs or even to transfer them into a computer.. Is there such a way? Can I do it on my own?, Can I do it without buying anything? please and thank you

Pinnacle makes a nice breakaway box that plugs into the USB and just use the RCA cables on the camera.

It will cost some money but they machines that do that. You can buy them at walmart for somthing like $75.

Get yourself a VCR/DVD machine and copy them. I've got one made by Philips.
