How can I fix my Hauppauge HD PVR?

Hauppauge HD PVR Not Working?

• A few days ago I re-arranged my room, and did a lot of cable management with all my devices. I had unplugged my PVR and re-plugged it in somewhere else. I had done this before, and was able to fix this problem somehow. Devices: Hauppauge HD PVR (up to date drivers) Magnavox 27" HDTV PS3 Slim Sony Vaio VPCEB32FM Here's my problem... When I change the output on my PS3 from HDMI to any outputs that the PVR supports (Component, Composite, etc.) it doesn't display anything on the capture software or my television. I've tried things like hard-resetting my ps3, I rebooted my Laptop, turned off the PVR, unplugged the PVR then plugged it back in. I even set the output to Component, unplugged my HDMI Cable, turned off my ps3, turned it back on and everything. I can't seem to figure it out. Yes my PVR is on when I try this. Yes everything is plugged in. Yes my TV is set to the right channel. Yes I downloaded the drivers directly from Hauppauge's website. Also - When I go through the capture software, it does display the output resolution at 720x480. I can record, but it's just a black screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated.   Have you always been using the HDMI cable ? because I have been told that it doent work.
